Deep Description

Howzit going everybody?????
So, as I sit in my room listening to Avril Lavigne, I type and type. Surrounded by Manga 'How-To' books, Anybody looking can tell I am an artist. My stamp with my name shows a trace of business sense and organization in my complex personality. The cluttered top of my CPU tells that I am slightly (okay, maybe more than slightly) disorganized and sentimental, never throwing anything out. My bookshelves, stuffed to bursting show that I am indeed an avid reader. However, I have a tendency to start but never finish books. And I am also one to read several books at once. The Mini Pressed Flower Kit, opened but not used. The Oxford Popular School Dictionary. Headphones. Thousands of pencils. Crystal Swarovski Hedgehogs, two of them. Notebooks. Pens. Lucky Charm. Speakers to blare my music for impromptu dance parties. The music switches from Avril Lavigne to Beyonce. Ahhhh, Halo. A great song. The top of my bookshelf, I notice, is also cluttered. Picture fromes filled with memories, two filled with pictures of my sister. Gifts, trinkets, and more lucky charms. The trinket boxes given to me by a friend who now resides in Philadelphia and doesn't answer my e-mails. My grandmother's old doll. My peg doll and her baby. My china doll. All memories. Dried flowers from my first ballet recital (yes, I still have them!), and a painted ceramic cat from my fifth birthday party (yes, I still have that, too!). A deer antler I found in the country,. A plastic Colonel Sanders. Some might call these possesions JUNK. I call them...MY junk.
Thanks for reading.

December 27th

Shoot, the holidays are almost over. Just one left! New Year's. I love New Year's, and I like staying up late, but then again, it wasn't so great last year. We just watched some movies and the New York New Year's parade.
I hope THIS year the New Year's is a bit better. Oh yeah, last year we got these noisemakers which was actually pretty cool.

Xmas Poem

'Twas the day after xmas
And all through the house
Every creature was stirring
There wasn't a mouse.
All the stockings were filled
With the coolest of toys
For all of the girls
And all of the boys.
As the parents took pictures
of Santa-brought toys
They smiled and talked
Of their Christmas joys.
Ma-ma in her bathrobe
and I in my cap
Were watching as girls
opened boxes from Gap.
'Twas the day after xmas
and cheers could be heard
'Twas the day after xmas
of that we are sure.

Hope y'all liked that!
xoxo,
Isabee

It's this gibbon monkey(his name is Walli), he's hilarious! He's from the ZooBorns blog, which I LOVE, by the by, but it is SOOOOO SWEET you might just get cavities from looking at it for too long. LOL...
I wanted to let you know that I am a collector of odds and ends also. Maybe I'll get some this Christmas...Those springy, glued-on little bows that come on presents would be great additions to my ever-growing doodad collection.
XOXO,
Isabee
P.S. I titled the 2cond pic "Walli be Stylin!" and the 1st was already titled "Walli Takes a Drink."

Italian Summer and Book List

You've heard of Indian Summer...but have you ever heard of Italian Summer? Probably not because unless you've been to Italy in the summer, you wouldn't have. That's because it ONLY OCCURS in ITALY. Okay, but...it's irregular and varies from summer to summer!
It's so awesome. This year, the Italian Summer was: wet and rainy June, mild July, boiling hot August. My favourite Italian Summer was probably: hot June, hot July, hot August. Not too hot, not too rainy. Ahhhhh...nice. Mmmm.
And, back to something that has something to do with the name of my blog! YAY!
My summer book list. Here it is:
The Ancient Ocean Blues by Jack Mitchell
The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex
The Tale of Desperaux by Kate DiCamillo
Kneeknock Rise by Natalie Babbit
Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder
Fairest by Gail Carson Levine
Okay, maybe I didn't necessarily read all these books this summer, but they are all awesome books and I want you to read them all. Oh, yes, I do.
And here is my last thing: a happy-bunny-ism: It's all about me. Deal with it.

First Post!

WELCOME to my blog, everybody!
I first had the idea for this blog when I was googling Happy Bunny by Jim Benton. Don't ask me why it came to mind then, I have no idea myself. This blog probably won't have TOO much to do with reading, but then again, maybe it will. Who knows.
First off, let me tell you something about myself: I AM SHORT. Small, tiny, little, cute, itty-bitty...I fit the description. My little sister agrees.
BUT know that I am also (not very modest!) smart.
I LOVE blogs! BLOGS ARE AWESOME! Whoa...that...was...so...random...whatever.
Just to brighten up your day, here's some Happy Bunny!
XOXO,
IsaBee!
